All of my closest relationships, whether professional or personal, started, from one degree or another, by trusting that person so as not to have to worry what they are doing behind my back.
Now, the only relationship I have with the U.S. Congress is that some of my hard earned tax dollars goes to pay their salaries. The level of trust I have in them is zilch, zero, nothing.
I wouldn't trust this bunch of modern day Mafioso (with apologies to the Mafioso) to shovel out the stalls in my barn, they'd probably try to steal my horses.
Right now it's Sunday afternoon and I just heard on TV that the Senate is in session today and instead of wondering what public business they are taking care of, all I can think is, "I wonder what kind of underhanded scumbag tricks Harry and his cohorts are going to pull on us today?"
Now I know I'm not alone with this attitude because the approval ratings for the congress is somewhere around 13%
Now just imagine any other professionals in the world who could operate with that kind of approval.
If I had an employee who was only 13% effective, I would have to fire them. Any director who pleased only 13% of the stockholders would be looking for a new job at the next board meeting. Any football coaching staff that only won 13% of their games would be out on the street before the season was over.
But if this bunch of soulless automatons are able to slip enough earmarks into their already bloated legislation, if they can send home just enough pork to convince their states citizens to vote for them, the rest of us are stuck with them for twenty or thirty years.
Our Senate is an embarrassment whose actions cannot survive the light of the public's scrutiny, so they sneak their greedy garbage through without any of us ever knowing the treachery these scumbags pull off.
America needs jobs, the economy is on life support and they're debating nuclear limitations treaties with our dear trustworthy friend, Russia, the Southern borders of our nation are a war zone and they totally ignore it, while they pass another insult to the national debt.
There's a scripture that says, “You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel" (Matt. 23:24)
How appropriate.
I give a complete vote of “No Confidence” to the current regime.
How about you?
What do you think?
Pray for our troops, and for our country.
God Bless America
